Things to Do at Lake Tamarisk


There is an active Quad community in Lake Tamarisk with group rides led by experienced riders each week. There are miles of terrain to explore right outside the park.


There is a public golf course located one block from Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort. It is a 9-hole course with 2 tee boxes. This uncrowded course does not require tee times.


Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort has a very active Hospitality Committee whose mission is to bring the members of the park together through social gatherings and activities.

Bird Watching

Lake Tamarisk is home to literally thousands of resident and migrating birds. It’s unique location makes it an excellent place to see, hear, and photograph dozens of species.

Park Amenities

The pool and hot tub are open from 7 am to 10 pm. Water aerobics is held Monday thru Friday at 9 am

The men’s and women’s bathrooms are located near the pool. Each has a private shower that can be used by members, renters, and guests.

The laundry room is open from 7 am to 8 pm for member and renter use and is located on the north side of Kennedy Hall. Large washers cost $1.50 per load. Small washers  and dryers cost $1.25 per load.

A 14-acre manmade lake with a 3/4 mile paved path around its perimeter is adjacent to the park where members and guests can fish, kayak, paddleboard, or take a walk or jog.
Lake Tamarisk Golf Course is a Riverside County 9 hole course with 2 tee boxes. There is a ladies, mens, and couples group that play each week. Click here to learn more.

Kennedy Hall is the park’s clubhouse where the office is located. It is used as a gathering place for game nights, community wide meetings, and events. There is a pool table, a small lending library, a TV w/ comfortable seating, and a kitchenette. There is also free WiFi in the clubhouse.

Riverside County has a firehouse just outside of the park with Ambulance and Fire Service. Emergency Medical Services are available 24/7.

Lake Tamarisk library is part of the Riverside County Library System and is located next door to the Firehouse. Apply for a library card and you can reserve any book in the County. Public computers are available and the staff is friendly and helpful. Click here for more information and hours.

A fenced-in RV and utility trailer storage area is available right outside the park for free to members.
