Lake Tamarisk Rules & Regulations

The following rules apply to all Renters and Guests of the park. All guests and renters are required to register with the office upon arrival.  Registration Forms are available at the office or a registration form may be filled out online.


  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
  • Generators are not permitted.


  • Uncontained campfires are not permitted.
  • Extension cords must not cross sidewalks, roads, or greenbelt areas.
  • Children are the responsibility of their parents and guardians.


  • Tents and outdoor sleeping is not permitted.
  • Please keep your space neat and orderly at all times.
  • Satellite dishes must not be larger than 36” in diameter. Limit 2 per space.
  • Radio transmitting antennas are permitted for licensed operators as long as they do not interfere with neighbors’ TV, internet, or radio reception.
  • Spaces may not be used for any commercial purpose.


  • Smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
  • Children under 14 are not permitted to use the pool table unless accompanied by an adult.


  • Pit bulls and pit mixes are not allowed.
  • Pets that are noisy, unruly, vicious, or cause neighbor complaints will not be allowed to remain in the park.
  • Proof of a valid rabies shot must be presented at registration.
  • Pets must be on a leash or in a kennel at all times. Leashes must be of a size and material appropriate for the animal and held by a person capable of restraining it.
  • Pets are not allowed in the clubhouse, laundry facilities, or pool area.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of waste in a tied-up bag.
  • Pets must not be left unattended for extended periods of time.


  • Pool and spa area hours are from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Water aerobics classes have priority. Do not enter the pool during aerobics classes unless you are a participant.
  • Alcoholic beverages, glass containers, and smoking are not permitted in the pool, spa or deck area.
  • There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty. Each person is responsible for their own safety when using the pool and spa.
  • Everyone must shower before entering the pool or spa and again after applying lotions, creams, or oils.
  • Do not use the pool to bathe. Soaps and/or shampoos are not allowed in the pool or spa.
  • Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • All persons who cannot control their bladder or bowels (children and adults) must wear a swim diaper.
  • Pool rules are posted in the pool area. Maximum occupancy must not be exceeded.
  • Swimsuits are required in the pool and spa. Cutoffs or similar clothing is not allowed.
  • Running, diving, and splashing is not permitted.


  • Laundry facilities are for members, renters, and guests of the park only. Laundry rules are posted in the area. They are coin-operated.
  • Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited in the laundry facilities.
  • All laundry must be removed promptly from the washing machines and dryers when cycles are completed. Clothing hung in the drying area must be removed when dry.
  • Laundry can be hung in the designated area outside of the laundry facility, inside residences, RVs, storage sheds, or vehicles. Laundry is not allowed to dry outside on decks, patios, or driveways.
  • Dying of clothing is not allowed in the laundry facility.
  • Please notify the office if any machines are failing to work properly.


  • Garbage must be secured in tied-up plastic bags and placed in the dumpster located at the north end of the park next to the storage area. Cat litter, ashes, and loose dust must also be placed in a tied-up plastic bag.
  • Cardboard boxes MUST be flattened before placing them in the dumpster.
  • Building materials, appliances, and items other than household garbage are not permitted in the dumpster.
  • Individual garbage cans are permitted in your space as long as they are out of sight, secured with a tight-fitting lid, and maintained in a clean, insect, and rodent-free condition.
  • The park recycles crushed aluminum cans and plastic bottles that have the CA CRV on the label. Please place these in the designated recycling containers next to the dumpster. Do not place glass or milk jugs in the recycle containers.
